Introduction to the Sections (Structural Steel; Piping etc.)

Beams; Channels; Angles; Hollow Sections (RHS, SHS, CHS); Pipes; Plates; Sheets; Flat Bars etc. Different Standards like British Standards, ASTM Standards, European Standards for all sections.

Mathematics & Engineering or Geometrical Shapes

A quick revision of 12th Standard Mathematics. Geometric Shapes like Cylinders, Cones, etc. in terms of Areas, Volumes, and Developments etc.

Welding Technology:

Types of Welding, Actual Practice of welding, positions, Materials, etc.

Engineering Drawings:

Structural Steel drawings; piping drawings; Tanks/Vessels Drawings: Basics of 2 D drawings; Sectional Views; Elevations; Plan View etc.

Quantity Survey/Estimation:

BOQ (Bill of quantities) take off from the drawings.

Production Planning & Control:

Project Scheduling, Material Planning, Coordination with Clients etc.

Industrial Working System:

Here the Engineers level students are being aware about the flow of work in the industry with the proper channel of all the departments.

ISO:

A brief description of ISO and other standards commonly used in the industry.

Quality Control:

How various companies use Quality Systems? Different Standards like ASME, AWS etc.

Details of Tools and Machines:

Right Angle; Hammers; Angle Grinders; Straight Grinders; Welding Machines; Press Brakes; Shearing Machines; Plate Bending Machines; Section Bending Machines; Cutting Torches for Oxy Acetylene Cutting Sets; Plasma Machines.

Details of Consumables:

Welding Consumables (Electrodes; Filler Wires; MIG Filler Rolls etc.); Grinding Wheels; Cut Off Wheels; Metallic Cutters (Burr Removers); Oxygen and Acetylene Cylinders;
