TRAINING – CONSULTANCY – INSPECTION – NDT SERVICES

We offer a wide range of high quality of teaching and extra-curricular activities.

The Nadaun Skill Development School (NSDIF) has formed a joint venture with Insight Quality Service (IQS) for the training program in welding and Non-destructive testing. The training will be of 8 hours a day and 6 days a week. All these 6 modules will have end-of-module tests to assess the level of understanding, and students will be graded through continuous grading to ensure that requisite subject penetration is achieved. This 6 weeks’ program will enable the student to gain basic knowledge of Welding Inspector duties and all NDT techniques including VT, PT, MT, RT, UT, Engineering Drawing Reading, ISO 9001, and Quality Assurance.

Internationally, NDT qualifications are at three levels – Level-I for operator level, Level-II for supervisory level and Level- III for Managerial level. Education, experience, training, vision test, and qualifying examinations both theory and practical both are essential for NDT L-I & L-II training. For L-III only theory training is required.

There is a practice in most industries of accepting NDT certification of a fresher, and NDT certification is easily issued to freshers at many places. This is a serious misconception because all certification programs such as ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing), British programs, and other schemes worldwide specify experience as a prerequisite for certification.
